Built From the Water Up
Captain Mike has spent years in the boating industry, beginning in Texas before expanding operations to Pittsburgh and ultimately returning to the Gulf Coast, where boating is a year-round way of life.
He has worked as a charter captain, served at West Marine, operated aboard an ocean-going crew boat servicing vessels in the Galveston Anchorage, the Port of Houston, and up and down the Texas Gulf Coast, and worked with TowBoatUS assisting boaters on the water when they needed it most. He has also completed vessel transports between Florida and Texas.
After working with established marine service companies in Clear Lake and Galveston, he founded Bronze Bitt LLC around honest, on-site marine repair and straightforward service.
As a boat owner and current liveaboard, he understands firsthand how quickly boating can turn from relaxing to stressful when something is not running right.
